PwC Says Romania’s Proposed Wealth Tax Unjustified Due To High Administration Costs

Romania’s proposed wealth tax, that would charge 0.5% of net asset values exceeding half a million euros, isn’t justified because administration costs would be much higher than the tax’s benefits, Mihaela Mitroi, partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), said Thursday.
