Romanian athlete Nicoleta Grasu won the bronze medal in the discus throw competition, bringing the first medal for Romania in the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, Germany.

The Romanian delegation brought home eight medals Thursday, including gold in the junior teams competition, in the Aerobics World Championship Aerobic held at Ulm.
