Romania on Tuesday set a new world record for the largest CPR training class, as it gathered 7,402 participants on a stadium in Bucharest for a teaching marathon.

Romanian shoe designer Mihai Albu has come out with a new pair of hand-crafted sandals that increase a woman's height by 31 centimeters, setting the world record for the Highest Heel Sandals, World Records Academy, the leading international organization which certifies world records, reported on its website.

Bucharest is now in the Guinness World Book of Records after 3,939 Santas gathered in Romania’s capital and offered gifts to the passersby.
