Three-Month Money Market Rate Hits Nearly Two-Month High Of 3.28%
The three-month money market interest rate used to calculate interests for consumer loans in lei on Friday rose to the highest in almost two months, at 3.28% a year, after staying put at 3.17% a year over the last three days, central bank data show.

The three-month money market interest rate last reached a close level, of 3.27%, on August 27.
The six-month money market rate, which is used to calculate interests on leu-denominated mortgage loans, rose to 3.50% on Friday, from 3.44% a day before. On August 6, the six-month rate was 3.49%, higher than 3.53% on August 3.
The nine-month interbank rate, which is used to calculate interests on loans in lei attracted by commercial banks from other commercial banks for a nine-month period, grew to 3.57% on Friday, from 3.51% a day before.
The twelve-month index increased to 3.62% on Friday, from 3.56% on Thursday. On August 3, the index reached a higher level, of 3.63%, followed by a decline to 3.60%, on August 6.
