Bulgaria Inaugurates First Ferry Line Btw Silistra, Romanian Port Calarasi

Bulgarian Transportation Minister Peter Mutafchiev on Monday attended the inauguration ceremony of a ferry line between the Bulgarian city of Silistra and the Romanian port Calarasi, southeast country, news.bg reported.

The ferry secures a transport corridor for the traffic of trucks from Turkey to Ukraine and back.

The ferry terminal has a surface of approximately 65,000 square meters and was leased for 35 years to "Danube industrial park," part of Bulgarian holding Alfa JSC.
