Cat Delivers Kittens In Romanian Govt’s Press Briefing Room

A cat that regularly hangs around at the Romanian Government’s headquarters, where officials and journalists alike pet and feed her, has given birth to a litter of four Wednesday night, in the Government’s press briefing room.

The building's administrative staff found the new mom under an audio mixing desk in the briefing room Wednesday morning, just hours before the Cabinet was to hold its weekly meeting.

The cat, who is a regular at the Government's press briefing room, walked in a few weeks ago while the prime minister was holding a news conference, but was quickly escorted out by staff.
