Disney Channel To Be Launched In Romania On September 19

Walt Disney company announced on May 26, 2009, that Jetix Romania would become Disney Channel. Jetix had about 3.6 million subscribers in December 2008, according to Splendid Thematics, which sells advertising space for the network.

Disney Channel Worldwide is one of the most successful televisions for children in the world, with 98 channels in 167 countries. By the beginning of 2010, Disney Channel and Disney XD will become functional in Central and East Europe.
