EC Mulls Extending Constanta-Trieste Oil Pipeline To France
The European Commission is considering extending the Pan-European Oil Pipeline linking Romania and Italy to Marseille in France, Alexandru Sandulescu, director in the Romanian Economy and Finance Ministry, said Friday.
2 views“The coordinator of the oil pipeline, Jozias Johannes van Aartsen, informed the economy and finance minister Varujan Vosganian of this possibility during a meeting in Bucharest,” Sandulescu said during a seminar on energy issues, adding the EC will analyze the proposal in the near future.
Vosganian and van Aartsen met in Bucharest on Oct. 25 for a working lunch.
