Every Romanian To Have National Health Insurance Card By 2012 – Health Minister

Romanian Health Minister Cseke Attila said Sunday in a press conference that by 2010 every citizen would have a national health insurance, which would contain all insurance information.

The minister said this card would remove the need for citizens to travel to the National Health Insurance House and get proof of having paid their healthcare contributions.

The health minister said that the cards would be issued by 2012, by which time a solution for uninsured people should also be found.
