Fire Breaks Out At Oil Refinery In S Romania, No Injured

A fire broke out Friday at the Arpechim oil refinery in Pitesti, southern Romania, at a cooling tower and 11 fire trucks were rushed to the scene.

Local emergency inspectorate spokeswoman Madalina Epure said the fire broke out around 10 a.m. at a 15 meter-high cooling tower, 200 meters away from the refinery's pyrolysis section.

She said no one is in danger because the refinery is closed for overhauling.
