Romanian hydrologists Tuesday issued a code yellow flood alert on several rivers in the western part of the country, valid from Wednesday until Friday.

Meteorologists said earlier Tuesday rain is expected in the western and northwestern parts of the country.

The code yellow flood advisory was issued for rivers Tur, Crasna, Barcau, Cris, Aries, Strei, Bega Veche and Bega, Timis, Barzava, Moravita, Caras, Nera, Cerna, Jiu and Oltul.
