Hydrologists Issue Orange Code Flood Alert For Prut River, E Romania

Hydrologists also maintain the yellow code flood advisory for rivers in the northern, northwestern and central parts of the country. The flood warning valid for rivers in southern and eastern Romania has been lifted.

Authorities warned that freshets on rivers Viseu, Iza, Tur, Lapus, Crasna, Barcau, Cris, Tarnave and Olt might cause local flooding.
