Most Romanian Institutions Managing Funds To Receive Less Money From State Budget In 2011
Romanian institutions managing funds, except the Labor, Agriculture, Environment, Finance, Development and Transport ministries, will receive less money from the state budget next year, both compared to the budget projection for 2010 and the 2010 initial budget, which was revised twice.

The funds allotted to the Health Ministry were reduced by about 40% compared to the budget projection for 2010, to 4.4 billion lei (EUR1=RON4.3137) from RON7.14 billion, according to the draft budget for 2011.
The Defense Ministry will receive RON4.7 billion, down 30% compared to the budget estimated for 2010, of RON6.7 billion.
The funds to be allotted to the Foreign Affairs Ministry were cut to RON530 million, from RON808 million.
The Government reduced funds for the Interior Ministry, which will receive RON9 billion, down 14%.
The Government also cut the Romanian Intelligence Service's budget to RON907 million, from RON1.17 billon, as well as the Foreign Intelligence Service's budget (RON175 million, from RON188 million). The Protection and Safety Service's budget was slightly increased to RON123 million, from RON119.5 million.
The Labor Ministry's budget will increase to RON33.6 billion, from RON29.4 billion.
The Agriculture Ministry will be granted RON11.6 billion, up RON1.4 billion compared to this year.
The Environment Ministry budget is up by RON500 million, from RON1.8 billion this year.
The Finance Ministry's budget will rise by RON300 million to RON2.8 billion, from RON2.5 billion.
The Transport Ministry's budget increased to RON11.574 billion, from RON11.538 billion.
The Tourism and Development Ministry will have a budget of RON2.78 billion, up RON10 million.
The draft budget for 2011 states revenues of RON80.812 billion, expenses of RON108.49 billion and a deficit of RON27.679 billion.
