Pedestrian Bridge Collapses SE Romania, Kills 1

A truck that drove under the pedestrian bridge hit the construction, which afterward collapsed on two cars that were behind the truck, spokeswoman for Ilfov Police, Elene Bucur said.

Romanian Transportation Minister Ludovic Orban said the truck driver was “probably” speeding when he drove under the bridge.
