Railway traffic on the Comarnic-Valea Larga route in southern Romania has been blocked Saturday afternoon after a freight train cut an electric wire.

Four passenger trains were stationed at the Comarnic, Buda, Busteni and Ploiesti railway stations waiting for damages to be fixed.

According to the Press Bureau of railway administration company CFR Infrastructura, the incident took place at around 12.30 p.m. and the train which broke the electric wire managed to continue on its route.

Railway traffic on the Comarnic-Valea Larga route was resumed at about 4.30 p.m..
