Romania Has High Expectations From NATO Summit – Def Min

Romanian defense minister Teodor Melescanu said Monday Romania has high expectations from the NATO summit it hosts in April in terms of enlargement and partnerships.

"I am confident the summit in Bucharest will mark an important step in the evolution of the Alliance. Romania, as host, has great expectations about decisions in terms of enlargement and the development of partnerships with non-NATO states,” Melescanu said.

He added the Romanian army is one of the forces in Romanian society that has proved that "Romania meets its undertaken commitments".
