Romania Neglects Diplomatic Relations With Russia - Econ Min

Romania’s Economy and Finance Ministry Varujan Vosganian said late Tuesday Romania has neglected its diplomatic relations with Russia and other states, concentrating mainly on the European Union states.

“Romania is sending contradictory signals to Russia,” said Vosganian while he was leaving Vienna late Tuesday.

When asked who was sending these signals, the Minister said: “The President”.

Vosganian participated Tuesday at the signing of the contract between the consortium that owns Nabucco gas pipeline project and its newest member German utility RWE AG (RWE.XE).
