Romania OMV Petrom To Hike Gasoline Prices By RON0.06/Liter

Romania’s largest oil company OMV Petrom (SNP.RO) Friday will raise its gasoline pump prices by 0.06 lei (EUR1=RON4.2765), the company said in a statement.

Thus, as of Friday, one liter of unleaded Premium gasoline will cost RON4.58, while one liter of unleaded Top Premium 99+ will be bought with RON4.96.

One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 will cost RON4.72 and RON5.38, respectively.

Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was taken over by Austria's OMV AG (OMV.VI).
