Romania’s Fmr Consul To Italy Arrested For Drug Possession

Germano, 42, is manager of a railway company and member of the managing board of local bank Banca Popolare di Bari. He was arrested after police found 200 grams of cocaine in his home during a narcotics raid, according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno.

Germano, who was Romania's honorary consul until three and a half years ago, was reported as saying he used the drugs to cope with his stressful job.
