Romania’s Handball Team Loses Qualifications For World Championship

Romania’s women’s handball team missed qualifications in the finals of the World Championship after it was defeated 30-20 in the Saturday semifinals against Russia’s representative.

The game between Romanian and Russia seemed to mirror the World Championship in 2005 when the team coached by Gheorghe Tadici also lost against Russia with 23-28.

Following the results, Romania is to play the small final of the competition on Sunday at 15:00 local hour against the losing team of the game between Norway and Germany.
