Romania’s "If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle", the debut feature of 35-year-old director Florin Serban set in a grim youth prison and featuring a cast full of amateurs, won the runner-up Grand Jury Prize at the 60th annual edition of the Berlin Film Festival.

Romania's "If I Want To Whistle, I Whistle" Gets Runner-Up Jury Prize At 60th Berlin Film Festival

The Romanian film, prison drama about a teenager's desperate bid to escape, also won the Alfred-Bauer award for cinematic innovation.

This year's Golden Bear award went to "Bal "(Honey) from Turkey's Semih Kaplanoglu and Roman Polanski collected the award for best director.
