Romania’s Nov Jobless Rate At 7.5%, Highest In 6-Years

Romania’s jobless rate rose for the 16th consecutive month in November to 7.5%, from 7.1% in October, according to the National Employment Agency ANOFM.

The total number of unemployed people was at 683,123 at the end of November, from 653,939 a month earlier.

In November 2008, the jobless rate was at 4.1%.

Romania has not seen a jobless rate higher than 7% in this period of the year since November 2003, when the unemployment was at 7.2%.
