Romania’s President Passes Law Allowing Govt To Submit 2010 Draft Budget To Parliament

Romania’s incumbent President Traian Basescu Wednesday passed the law allowing the country’s caretaker government to draft the state budget for next year and submit it to Parliament.

The Parliament adopted recently the draft amendments to the law on the organization of the Government, empowering the Executive to send to the Parliament the 2010 state budget, social security budget and fiscal liability laws.
