Romania Win Women’s Carpathians Handball Trophy

A third consecutive win brought Romania the title in the Carpathians Women’s Handball Trophy in Cluj-Napoca on Sunday.

Romania defeated Germany 32-30 and took the title with six points total from three matches.

Ukraine and Germany finished second with four points each, while Croatia failed to gain any points.

Romania’s Luminita Hutupan was nominated the best goalkeeper of the competition.

The best player title went to German Grit Jurack, and Croatian Mina Jukopila scored the most goals (21).
