Romanian Cucumber, Tomato Producers Claim EUR1.46M In Damages From European Commission

Romanian farmers growing cucumbers and tomatoes have claimed EUR1.46 million from the European Commission to cover the losses they suffered because of E.coli infection cases reported throughout Europe, Agriculture Minister Valeriu Tabara said Tuesday.
