The attributions of Dan Nica as deputy prime minister could be changed, after his appointment at the head of the Ministry of Administration and Interior, namely they could be narrowed.

According to political sources, the deputy prime minister functions could be changed when the Parliament approves the new government structure.

One of the deputy PM attributions is the coordination of the community fund absorption process, handled by an interministerial group directly under prime minister Emil Boc and deputy prime minister Dan Nica.

The deputy PM attributions were set in December by emergency ordinance.
