Romanian Govt To Assume Responsibility For Tax-Free Reinvested Pft - PM

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc on Friday said the government is to assume responsibility in parliament for lifting the tax on reinvested profit, as part of a larger law package prepared for this fall.

Boc said the tax-free reinvested profit will be included in a law pack regarding reorganization of public agencies, redistribution of public spending and measures to support the business environment.

The government will assume responsibility for the package early September, while the tax on reinvested profit will be lifted as of October 1, Boc said.
