Romanian Justice Min Has Not Received Info On EC Justice Report Delay

The Romania Ministry of Justice said it has not received any official notification from the European Commission (EC) regarding a delayed issue of the EC report on the evolution of Justice in Romania.

Ministry representatives added no further comments will be made pending an official answer from the EC.

The European Commission will release its report on Romania’s justice system in September, not July as previously set, said Tuesday Victor Ponta, Romania’s minister-delegate for the relation with Parliament.

He added the Commission has yet to confirm it would publish the report in September instead of July.
