Romanian Liberals May Team Up With Leftist Opposition For Local Elections - PM

Romanian liberal Prime Minister Calin Tariceanu said Monday that liberals in the country may team up with other political party for the second round of local elections, including leftist opposition social democrats.

Tariceanu said local liberal candidates, may, in principle, team up with other political parties.

"In principle, our organizations have the liberty to decide locally what alliances would be best to have a functional administration that serves citizens,” Tariceanu said.
