"State employees will recover a part of the money lost this year, but no more than the country can afford," said Boc.
The prime minister did not present the level of next year's salary increase and highlighted that the draft unitary wage law is currently being drawn up.
Romania's deputy Prime Minister Marko Bela recently told a news conference that public sector employees would have their wages hiked as of January 1 and the increase level would be set soon.
