Romanian PM-Designate Mihai Ungureanu Steps Down As Foreign Intelligence Service Director

The Service will be run by deputy director Silviu Predoiu. Ungureanu was appointed director in December 2007.

Romanian President Traian Basescu nominated Ungureanu for prime minister Monday evening. On Wednesday, Ungureanu presented his Cabinet list and program.
