Romanian PM Invites IMF, EC Mission Chiefs To Work Meeting In Bucharest

Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Razvan Ungureanu has invited Jeffrey Franks, head of the IMF mission to Romania, and Istvan Szekely, Director and European Commission mission chief to Romania, to Bucharest for a meeting on current economic issues.

The work meeting is to take place on February 21-22. The letter of intent to last year's loan will not be on the agenda, the Government informs.

The letter of intent was agreed upon by the IMF and Commission with former Prime Minister Emil Boc, the day before he resigned.
