Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc said Monday, on B1 TV, that he has asked the Finance Ministry not to amend the laws on copyright, arguing that current rules are satisfactory.

An amendment to the Fiscal Code, proposed by the Finance Ministry and criticized by actors and union officials, said companies would pay social security contributions for their freelance staff, if these employees also have a work contract with the same company, as well as for freelance activities carried out under an exclusivity cause.
