Romanian President Passes Law Enabling Govt To Issue Ordinances During Break

Romanian President Traian Basescu on Monday passed the law allowing the Government to issue ordinances during the parliamentary recess.

The law was adopted last week by the Chamber of Deputies. It enables the Government to issue ordinances in the fields of public finance, economy, transports, communication, education, agriculture and healthcare, during the July-August 2011 parliamentary break.
