Romanian Rompetrol Cuts Gas, Diesel Oil Pump Prices

Romania’s second-largest oil group Rompetrol, owned by Kazakhstan's KazMunayGaz, cut Wednesday its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.07 lei (EUR1=RON4.2170) and RON0.05 per liter, respectively.

Thus, as of Wednesday, the prices of Efix 95 and Alto gasoline will be of RON3.9 and RON4.51 per liter, respectively.

One liter of Efix Diesel and Diesel Alto diesel oils will cost RON3.72 and RON4.01 per liter, respectively.

The prices of fuel sold in Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices, Rompetrol said in a press release Wednesday.
