Romanian Tennis Player Monica Niculescu Wins The Bucharest Masters

Romanian tennis player Monica Niculescu won Sunday the women’s division of the Bucharest Masters Tournament, defeating 1-6, 6-4, 6-1, Irina Begu in a match that took two hours and 27 minutes.

The men’s division final will also take place Sunday between Victor Hanescu and Victor Crivoi.

The Tournament is fitted with prizes consisting of items worth EUR600,000.

Thus, the winners will each receive a house.

The runners up will receive all-road SUVs while the ones in third place will received free flights to all competitions throughout 2009.
