Three students were in a more serious condition and were taken to an emergency hospital, but they will recover, while the other 13 were treated in a medical unit near the university’s dorm, Bucharest police spokesman Christian Ciocan told MEDIAFAX.

Early investigations indicate the carbon monoxide was due to a failure in the dorm’s heating unit.
