The authorities in Constanta, southeastern Romania, halted operations in Constanta Nord, Constanta Sud and Midia seaports due to strong wind, Alexandru Mezei, head of the Constanta Harbor Master’s Office, said Friday.

Earlier Friday, Mezei said Constanta Sud Fluvial was closed due to strong wind of nearly 50 kilometers per hour, while barge traffic on the Danube- Black Sea Canal was restricted.
