Two MPs, Local Branch Head Run For President Of Romanian Conservative Party
Romanian MPs Daniela Popa and Sabin Cutas, alongside Florian Anghel, president of the Prahova county branch of the Conservative Party, or PC, on Monday submitted their candidacies for position of party head.

The conservatives are to elect a new president on January 27, when the current head of the party, Dan Voiculescu, will step down from his position.
Voiculescu announced late November that he had no intention to run for party president again.
Other members interested in running for president can submit their candidacies until 24.00 hrs tonight.
