Rowling i-a încredinţat pe cititorii şi admiratorii săi că “transformările extraordinare sunt posibile” şi că “nimic nu este pentru totdeauna”, înainte de a-i ruga pe oameni să-şi amintească că ziua Crăciunului a fost “iniţial, doar o zi normală”. “Tu şi viaţa ta nu sunteţi un test sau o grilă, aşa că fii îngăduitor şi blând cu tine însuţi”, a adăugat scriitoare.
