Mariana Mihaela Puscasu, 34, was fatally stabbed in October 2008 by her Pakistani ex-boyfriend in an apartment in the Italian city of Foligno (Umbria region).
The Perugia Jurors Court sentenced Arshad Mahmood, who stabbed the woman 24 times, to life imprisonment. The murder happened in the house where the woman worked as a maid. The motive seems to have been jealousy.
