The announcement was made Tuesday by Cantacuzino Institute manager Radu Iordachel, during hearings in the Parliament health committee.
Iordachel said 450 employees will be laid off after the vaccine production line is closed, adding the National Medicine Agency sent the institute the notification stating the institute is forbidden to market injectable medicines on February 8.
