Romania’s President Appoints Borbely Caroly Communications Min

Romania’s president Traian Basescu signed on Monday the decree to appoint Borbely Karoly in the position of minister of Communications and Information Technology, the presidential administration announces.

Borbely is to replace Iuliu Winkler, who resigned last week to start his mandate as member of the European Parliament.

Borbely was until now president of Romania’s Youth Authority ANT.
