Romania to Build New Gas Pipeline Connection to Serbia

Romania's state-owned natural gas transmission company Transgaz will build an 85 km gas pipeline to connect the local transmission grid to that of neighboring Serbia, according to a draft government decision.

Romania to Build New Gas Pipeline Connection to Serbia

The pipeline connection is part of Romania's national gas transmission system development plan for 2018–2027.

The pipeline would connect Petrovaselo in Serbia to Comlosu Mare in Romania and would have a total length of 85.56 km.

Transgaz has signed a memorandum with Serbian counterpart Srbijagaz for the two-way pipeline.
