Romanian Environment Min Says Country Not Affected By Radiations From Fukushima Nuclear Plant

The director of the Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering in Magurele, southern Romania, said Wednesday the level of radioiodine in rainwater and sheep's milk in Romania is 600 times below the accepted limit and poses no risk to human health.

The sanitary and veterinary authority ANSVSA announced Wednesday that the results of lab test have signaled no radioactive contamination of food and fodder in Romania.
