Feature film ‘Aurora’ by Romanian film director Cristi Puiu won the East of the West award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, which took place between July 2 and July 10, said the website of the event.

'Aurora' was first screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
The film tells the story of a divorced man, played by Puiu himself, who faces deep emotional problems.
'The Mosquito Net' by Spanish Augusti Vila won the Crystal Globe award for best film and 'Kooky' by Oscar-winner Czech director Jan Sverak won the Special Prize of the Jury.
