Romanian football coach Ioan Andone quit Bulgarian team CSKA Sofia and is to return to Romania, AFP reported, citing local television station bTV.

According to Bulgarian sports website www.sportal.bg, Andone has not received his salary since his appointment as coach on January 17, 2010. Also, the website reports players have only been paid for January.
Assistant coach Adalbert Zafirof said he would take over the team if Andone quits.
CSKA Sofia ranks third in Bulgaria's national championship and drew three ties and secured two victories with Andone as coach.
