Romanian Govt To Approve Fiscal Code, Heating Aid Act, Sale Of Electrica Stake On Wednesday

Romania's new Fiscal Code, Fiscal procedure Code, heating aid ordinance and the act on the sale of a stake in state-owned energy distributor Electrica SA will be approved by the Government in its meeting on Wednesday.

"We discussed [Tuesday], at first reading, the Fiscal Code and Fiscal procedure Code, we received observations from the other ministries and will approve them in tomorrow's meeting," said Finance Ministry official Dan Lazar.

In turn, Government spokeswoman Ioana Muntean said the emergency ordinance on heating aid will be debated again on Wednesday, as well as the act for the sale of a stake in Electrica SA.
