Romanian Police Search Offices Of Firms That Allegedly Caused EUR29 Million Damage To State Budget
Romanian Police have conducted Thursday 53 searches in company offices in Bucharest and in 22 counties in a tax evasion case where the damage to the state budget is estimated at EUR29 million.

The searches involves 17 companies that emitted certificates for handling used industrial oils and which dealt with collecting, recovering and eliminating these oils.
The police said these companies underwent fictional activities that led to a EUR29 million damage to the state budget through tax evasion.
