Romanian Transgaz Requests Higher Gas Transport Fees

Romanian state-owned gas transporter Transgaz (TGN.RO) asked energy watchdog ANRE to increase the transport fees for natural gas, company official Elisabeta Ghidiu said Tuesday.

"We are considering increasing the transport fees. We have already filed a request with (energy regulator) ANRE," said Ghidiu, who is the company's strategy and corporate management director.

She added she doesn't know the exact increase requested, since the request was filed by another department within the company.
